Is the 63-67 Corvette the only vertical car radio/stereo that's made?
I want to use something like that in my '34.

Many people claims that the Custom Auto Sound stuff is junk. How about the slightly more expensive Zip Products.inc? Any of you heard of it or tried it? At a Corvette forum I visited, he stated that his retrofit stereo products were NOT Custom Auto Sound.

I had an original vertical Vette radio converted to modern innerds by S/M Electro-Tech in Blaine, MN.

On the outside, it is a '63 AM Wonderbar radio. But the original electronics were removed and replaced by a conversion board made by Antique Automobile Radio. So now it's an AM/FM 4-channel stereo with an aux input for a CD changer (which could also be used with an iPod, MP3 player, or satelite radio receiver).

The Vette radio they made for me also has some neat custom features. It was actually made from two radios: A '63 AM Wonderbar and a '64 AM/FM. Now its an AM/FM Wonderbar stereo with a roll-over AM/FM dial face. It works great.

Hope this helps...
