Hello my friends! I'm on a project and need some good minds! I have a 1973 VW with auto stick, which means it has oil tank, air reserve tank for the servo which operates clutch. I put in a manual trans and no longer need the above mentioned items. Here comes the question. The air to the valve body which in turn supplies the air tank comes from the manifold. Does the engine put out enough air to provide use for an air horn and does the tank hold enough air to make an air horn work? It's all just fun and really not important to world peace, but what the hell, beats kicking the dog! thanks, somberlights

More than likely that is manifold vacuum that did that operation. Just the reverse of what is needed for an air horn..
