boy,am i getting old! trying to bleed brakes on mt '53 chevy.(car) do you open all 4 if they are the check-ball type, or do you do one at a time? also, should i have the engine running to keep vacuum to the booster, or pump it w/o the booster working?
Also--the farthest MAY be the left rear and not the right.
If the brake lines leave the master and go down the left side--RR is far
If they go across and down the right side--LR is the farthest
Poncho----they are called speed bleeders--kind of handy actually, although I have had to teflon tape the threads to keep from sucking air past them when the pedal was released. If new they have some type of compound on the threads to prevent this--but not enough.
