Can a fuel pump that is not providing the right pressure affect injectors differently. Or will they all be evenly weak. Im wondering if the injectors furthest away from the pump be affected more than closer ones.
Im a bit ignorant when it comes to fluid dynamics.

Im trying to solve a 301 code, on a chevy vortec 4.3L 2001 van.

I havnt finished going through the ignition system, but I read a post about failing weak pumps on those models.

Though the engine doesnt stumble or hesitate noticeably. It runs well, and I do not notice the misfire when driving.
Thanks

A weak pump will affect all injectors the same because the fuel rail is at a constant pressure. Your problem is most likely one of three things: bad plug, clogged injector or bad spark plug wire. You could move the injector to another cylinder and see if the code follows but I would replace the plug and wire first.
