Hey all... I have some Devcon Wear Resistant Putty and was wondering if anyone has used this for any body work they have done? I was thinking of putting it along the seams where my roof panel meets the rear 1/4 and front pillars and going over it with a skim coat of filler. I tried it on an old door skin and when it dries it's hard as a rock and I was able to get it smooth but I went through a lot of sanding discs. It was also pretty resistant to cracking due to flex. Soooo, I was thinking, since I can get this stuff pretty readily, I would use it for body filling and then skim coat with a polyester filler to smooth things out. If anyone has experience with this stuff please let me know. I also included a link to read up on in case you haven't used it but can form an opinion based on what's written.
Thanks
