Does anyone know what stock cam to use in 454ci TBI engine and where to purchase (maybe Summit)?
It is in a 1990 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive Suburban, type "N" engine with TH400 auto trans.

Machine shop can get you a stock cam, but I recommend a CompCams 4 x 4 cam for a little more $.. Don't cheap out on the lifters, get Comp's armored lifters. It's cheaper than flattening the lobes and doing it over again.

GM makes a cam for the TBI 454 engines. its pn 12361316 210/218 duration at 0.050" with lift of .485/.490 on a 115° LSA.

You can get this cam kit at any GM parts desk.
