Hello.
Is there any heads out there that dont cost 800 bucks that is decent for performance???
I cant find any aftermarket head thats under 7-800 dollars. B&M used the big valve dbl humps on there test mule engine and got 525 horses on pump gas with there blower. Would I be wasting my time? How bout then Ebay stores that use the 882's and port em and install bigger valves? Im not shootin for the fastest street car shootout or for all out drag race racing.

You can get a new set of dart cast heads for that price & will do the job.

I would get a set of Vortec heads. You can get a set ready for up to .525 lift for $650 a set, assembeled. If you are using a cam at or under .500 lift, the vortec heads will out perform the dart,WP... of the same size, and they are cheaper. Personally, I think going with the other stock heads is not an efficient way of spending your money. You will have alot of money in them if you want to get the performance that you would have with the vortecs.

I like the Vortecs, but I cant use em with a roots blower.
