i'm going to re-paint the cab of my '64 gmc truck, but i dont know anything. I've read from the knowledge base about rust stripping but i dont know what kind of paint to use. Its all metal. I guess I use regular spray paint but are there other products out there that might have better colors, finish and strength?

thanks.

I assume you mean the inside of the cab?

Finish and strength can sometimes be at the opposite ends of the spectrum.. A couple of strong paints are POR-15 and Zero Rust. They deteriorate with UV lighting but ZR (and maybe POR) have a clearcoat that can be applied on top. Both have a limited selection of colors.

Most modern auto paints will probably hold up fairly well in your cab as well.
