The MSD # you've picked is a good piece with the vacuum advance and adjustable timing curve weights and springs. Definately go with vacuum advance version.

The advice that Matt167 gave on the Ford Duraspark II is also good. This factory mag trigger distributor is hard to beat. Lots of Ford guys run this instead of blowing money just for the MSD name. Ford did an excellent job with this distributor, it is just a little harder to dial in the advance curve in it is all.
