If you put a 2500 stall converter behind a stock 350 in an 84 camaro with 3.42 gears.

Can't see a problem with it, should work fine. You'd be spending more time slipping the converter (probably need a cooler to go along with it) but you'd likely be happy with the results - so long as you're not hoping for any fuel economy.

I imagine it also might only stall at 22-2300 behind a stock motor...of course what year "stock" 350 is it, since '84 Camaros didn't come with 350s?
