I recently installed a Heidt Super Ride II on my 56 chevy truck. I am now ready to do the adjustments to the caster and camber following the instructions in the Heidt kit. One thing the kits instructs is to get the front wheels pointing straight ahead and aligned with each other befor hooking up the rack streeing. I do not have gages to check this. Is there a fool proof way to set the front wheels so they are pointing absolutly stright ahead and parallel whit each other? Thanks in advance. David Bodily

Without making it too complicated; just measure the distance from the center of each tire at approximately half way up from the ground in the front and in the back of the tires. Adjust until the measurements are equal.

There are more accurate methods, but this will get you close enough for what you are doing.
