Hey Fellas.
Im nearing completion of my prostreet Gremlin and I have a question. We had to stretch the rear whell wells to fit the bigger tires and my friend said to use these little metal pieces you buy and tack weld em in and form bondo around em to get em rounded again. My question is this.
If they are pretty round now, can I( or if they even make em) buy chrome pieces and put on em like when they were stock to just cover em up? Does anyone make universal type or am I dreaming? Thanks, HG

take a pic of your wheelwells, go to the wrecking yard and find a donor that is close to yours, maybe with a little luck another gremlin.use the donor peices welded in to fill the gap left by the extension. a little bondo and some bodywork you'll have a stock looking whelwell.

For about 30 years I've been going down to the local furnace shop and asking them for their ducting scraps. They come in all different shapes as well as thicknesses and mould well. I braze them into whatever shape patch I need and they use galvanize so they seldom rust.
