From the looks.. So Cal - San Fernando Valley?- San Fernando Drag strip?? They allowed fuel altereds untill they got so fast that they ran out of shut down room. But I can't remember when they closed. Still it could be.:thumbup:

Gary Densham was a high school teacher in CA.Used to take his class to the drags for learning experiences,keeps em interested.He is an old drag racer,been in the sport for years.He got John Force going in his early days and Force owes him big time.Unfortunately Gary Denaham will not be a member of Forces team next year.Got the chance to meet him and talk for a few with him this year at the US Nats.One more cool guy that the NHRA has at their meets.Posed with my son and signed a few drivers cards for him,then went and got suited up to win the Shootout.It was good to see him win the shootout AND the event.Made for a Million dollar payday.Of course John Force Racing surely got the lions share of that purse.
