Where to obtain suitable winch?

I need some advise/input on installing a winch in the bed of my 05 Ford Explorer Sport Trac to load/un-load a 250 pound electric scooter via aluminum ramps. Ideally I’d like a winch with remote control. Winch’s I see advertised are for 1,500 pounds and up and this is “over kill” for what I need. Any suggestions for my application would be appreciated. One winch found was for a boat anchor that would lift 25 pounds; would this be capable of “pulling” my scooter up the ramps?

Harbor freight sells those little ATV winches that are cheap and cute.

Hi,
Harbor Freight has a winch for about $65. (it's on sale now for $50. & has a remote,) it has a mount that fits on a tow ball.
I cut a small hole in the bed floor & welded a piece of angle (w/tow ball attached) to the frame.

I have used the 2000 lb. winch (weirdbeard post) for several years. Mounted on a trolley running on an aluminum beam in the rear of a 24' box truck that I use for picking up cores. By looping the cable back to the mount. I can pick up heavy loads. Engine, trans cores etc. Works great. Cheap to replace, if and when it dies.
