Alright guys, I have a question for you. I have a 72 chevelle that I'm working on right now and trying to figure out which gears I should put in the rear. It's got a 454, with a turbo 400 and will mostly see street duty. The motor is going to be making alot of torque from about 2000 - 5000, and I want the car to be quick, not fast. Since I won't be revving the motor past 6000 RPM's. I was thinking about either 3.56's or 3.73's.

Whaddya think all?

Id go with 3.73's if you mean quick as in it moves quickly from a stop. 3.56's if it will be seeing regular highway or 55+ cruising. Then you will experience more mid to top end potential.
