hello all i got a good question for ya. who makes aftermarket steel or fiberglass body parts such as hoods and fenders for 78-79 trans-am? I cant seem to find anybody.-----corection----- I found a few fenders the shaker and the hood is starting to become a problem. thanks.

Have you checked Paddock? They started with 'stangs and have worked into GM pony cars. Goodmark is another company that stamps out GM metal, there is one other but I'll have to track it down. I believe Harwood offers some GM 'glass parts.

thanks i will keep checking . i looked at goodmarks website with no big finds so far i will have to check with paddoc next.---buy the way whatever you do dont try to go to hardwood.com its not a good idea at all its not what i thought the company that makes fiberglass parts is under something else. geeeez im gona need thearapy now.

jstgtnstarted, which year are you looking for '78 or '79, they are two different nose cone styles, but any part will fit from '74-'81. Hundred of companies sell 'glass parts for those years. The '74-'76 and '79-81 nose cone styles have full 'glass front ends available, but not the '77-'78. Just do a search with the search feature on this site and you'll find at least 5 different places.
