I'm looking for a stainless grill for my 38 chev, trying to find the best deal, they seem expensive for what they are. Does anyone know who makes them or where to get the best deal.
I have a fairly good original grill, but chrome plating looks like it will be even more. What do you Americans pay for chroming? thanks

If you think chrome is expensive.....stainless would be crazy $$$'s. I would contact one of the chrome shops in your area...most chrome shops won't quote you a price until they have a chance to check out the parts and see what it will take to get it ready for chrome. I checked with a chrome shop on getting some small pieces done. I had an estimate of over $400 for 2 pieces that were about 12" long and 2" wide.........will get them powdercoated instead.

Here's one option:

here's another:

I had Alumicraft make a Grille for my '35 (and surround), and they did a great job-granted it's not Stainless, but I had them Chrome it and it looks great.

The only other thought I have is that there is a guy in Jerome, Idaho who makes Grilles (Grille Art), and I believe his are Stainless-his Phone Number is 208-324-3055, but last I heard he was about two Years behind-

Thanks guys, I should've said that I'd prefer my grill chromed, but was told about $1200 +, so looked at the "laser cut stainless grills" and I just think for a flat piece of stainless the prices are a bit much, $700. The original grills were stamped and I think better looking. I'm just looking for a deal.
