Ok so as some of you may know i was considering the assualt 210cc heads. I called them up and they said that head flows averages 256 int. 197 ex. @. 600 lift. First im guessing i can run a matched duration cam with this head right? Second What kind of power is this head capable of? Im looking at 10.5:1 cr in a 383. Its a 64cc head.

I know ive gotten cam opinions already. But withis data what cam would sound good. Power is all that matters. Track car only. I was looking at a comp cam with 306 duration and .555 lift. Seems to be about the max on the low compression.
That estimation would be great to hit. What cam, carb, intake, headers do you recommend?A very rough estimate of the power you can make based on just those two peak flow numbers and a 10.5:1cr is 474HP. Remember this is very rough and you have to use all the nessessary supporting parts to make it happen. ( right cam, inake big carb, good headers)
Usually thee cheapy heads can use a good clean up from the out of the box form.
