I have a 1950 willys pickup, I want to put new suspension underneath it, is there a kit or something so that I can use chevy suspension, dana 44 in the front and 12 bolt in the back, I thought about doing a frame swap, and putting the body on a 79 chevy shortbed frame, but I dont know if that will work, i would like to use the original frame, can anybody help me out, i would appreciate it thanks.

Probably easier in the long run to use the Chevy frame and axles...........they are already in place, less welding etc.

It'll take some work to do it either way. The chevy frame and axles are a fair amount wider than the one on the Willys. An easier swap is to get the front and rear D44 axles from a Jeep wagoneer, they are closer to the correct width.
