I am doing most of my 68 GTO restoration this winter and need some suggestions. Carpet- most say lay it out in the sun for a few hours. I live in Texas so thats out (watch the weather channel). The last time I put carpet in my Camaro I nearly just drove without it. Any help? I am also looking for the hard to find interior pieces (A/T console and His/Hers shifter).

Are you hunting carpet or sugesstions on laying it in ?

if you are talking about the folds and creases from being boxed and shipped just use a good hairdryer on the back side, then install as normal any minor problems will go away after the sun has cycled the interior heat a few times
