I have ordered the *****in front floorboard kit for my 38 chevy. Have talked with a few people, and came to the conclusion that the *****in kit would be okay to use, so as soon as it arrives, I'm at the shop. LOL Are there any tips that you might have for me? Thanks

At this point the most I can say is measure twice and cut once.

Yes, I've often cut something off twice and it was still too short.

Be sure you have something on the perimeter to mount the new pieces to and fit them in. Tack everything together checking for level / even / lined up before finish welding. Use seam sealer when finished at the joints. Paint the bare metal.

Finish the car, drive and enjoy.
