hey guys, ive got a 97 firebird...3.8L V-6 with the automatic tranny (i know jack and **** about tranny's so im not sure which one it is)... i was just wondering if anyone out there knew where i might snag a WS6 conversion kit for this car...any help is appreciated...

Conversion kit?? Unless you're just going for the "look", the WS6 package includes a lot of stuff... jack up the license plates and slide a real WS6 between them. It would be cheaper.

 

[FUEL]

The WS6 package refers to the suspension on the Trans/Am's.
Just order/get part's from any Trans/Am.

Front and rear sway bar's--junkyard/ebay (get the mounting bushings)
Link kit's for above--autoparts store.

Front and rear springs--autoparts store

Bilstein rear shocks and front strut's--autoparts store

Not sure about the rack and pinion but the 3rd gen. WS6 package had a different steering gear box so I would think the rack would be different. ie: quicker ratio etc......

16"x8" wheels and 245/50/16" tires.
