looking for gearheads (us)

that have 350 cid w/ xe268 cam w/ 600 edelbrock carb...

it is a 1406

what carb combo are you using?

main jet ? rod? color spring?

sec. jet ? accl pump hole?

i dropped it on "out of box" and run it 100 miles
plugs are pretty white..
didnt hear any pinging...but had low speed surge

on the carb chart you start at position #1

i think ill go to #19

opinions/comments?

The 1406 is calibrated from the factory for "economy". On my last engine I had to do some significant richening. If I remember correctly, I was almost off the upper right side of the "chart". Dyno said the a/f ratio was good for me there.

If you follow the instruction/chart you should be able to get the thing dialed in pretty close.
