I recently purchased the car in my signature, a 35 Ford with a 95 Chevy 350 tbI, and what I was told is a 700R4 tranny, with 373 rear gears. If you drive it like a normal person, it shifts solid and behaves just like my daily driver. However, whats the point of a street rod if you can't mash the gas and hear the rumble, when you do that the tranny just seems to wander, not really slipping, but, it doesn't feel like it knows where its going either. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, as I am a fairly good body man, but, have a lot to learn as a mechanic.
