14079261. Good for port work?

Ive got a set of clean and freshly rebuilt SBC heads casting number, 14079261. How do these compare to other factory heads. Are they any good after porting and polishing? Heads will be used on a sbc to with hopes of the 325-350 Crank hp range.

Also can anyone tell me chamber size and valve size for these heads, Possibly what they might flow? Ive looked at several different books and it only tells me there from an 1986. No other information.

Pretty sure they are 76cc chambers, swirl port. All done by 3500.

Had a kid bring in a pair that he had obviously spent many hours with a die grinder and stones. "Sorry, they are both cracked" kinda bummed him out..

I agree Tech/Bob.Here is a challenge for ya.Which one of us is going to find one of the more popular casting numbers and cut it open on a band saw to show the "Fred Flintstone" porters exactly what we are talking about???.

Thanks for the help everyone. Looks like another set is in order. I've got a set of 882 heads. Or maybe just spend the money for a set of quality aluminums .
