i had to put a second hand engine in my truck and was wondering if the plastic timing chain cover could be re sealed with silicone if i removed the perma gasket that was put on it from the factory..... :welcome: :welcome:

Also, the front seal is cast in place, and is not replaceable. These shouldn't be too expensive, the last one I bought was around $60, IIRC.
