I just purchased a 1994 Mercury Villager. I know, I know. It's the posterchild of a mini-van, but not for long. I plan to give her a through and through with a custom touch.
Here's a little background. It's going to be a surfing vehicle (which is the sole reason why I bought it. I own a Corvette and you can't exactly fit a 10' surfboard in a Vette no matter how many times you try, believe it or not). I was thinking of painting it a flat black (suede, if you may) primer-look, and dark tinting the windows. I would like to get a mural painted on it, maybe in a white airbrush. As for the wheels I was thinking one of two things. Either a set of mag wheels and give it an aggressive stance, or a set of dayton spoked wheels with 2.5" whitewall tires all around.
As for the interior, I'm going to rip out the 3rd row in order to have a place to sleep after a long day of surfing.
Any ideas? Suggestions?
