I could´nt find your cam at Comp Cams so I put in high performance street.

Pretty much the only difference between this motor and yours is that this one has a mechanical roller cam and yours is hyduaulic. They also used a Victor JR. With those two things in mind, I think you will be around 475-500 hp. I wuold be a little carefull with 11.2:1 compression if you are thinking about running pump gas. It might work just fine, but it may not. That is a pretty big gamble when you are only probably talking about loosing around 10-15 peak hp by going to 10.8:1.

Malc here is my cam specs,

Malc also my total lift on the cam will be .640 intake and exhaust with my 1.6 rockers......

And Adam (firestone) the motor is already built and has been running for two years minus the new AFR heads that I am waiting for and the Air Gap intake. No detonation and runs strong. I always run premuim fuel. And 110 VP Race Gas is in my tank most of the summer. :mwink:

Right now I am running a set of 1967 Camel Hump 2.02's and a Torker II intake. With the new heads and intake I should have a solid small block....

Today I am installing my new YANK 3800 stall converter and having my turbo 350 110% re worked.... Currently have a 3200 custom stall and stock Turbo 350 :thumbup:

KO I am still in the dark with the actuall flow numbers. I originally ordered AFR's 195 comp current casting. Then found out that they where coming out with new Comp 195's so I switched my order to the new castings. So here I am waiting patiently.... :drool:

My AFR rep told me that the new 195 comp castings will flow as good as their current 210 race heads. And I could expect no less than 25 increased HP from the new castings over the current 195 comps.....

As good as my car runs now with the old Camel Hump 2.02's. I just can not wait to test drive the new AFR heads with air gap intake and my new YANK converter.... :thumbup:

Right now I shift around 5900 to 6100. AFR said stud girdles are recommended for my new setup... And he also said welcome to the 7000 plus RPM range.... :mwink:

Have you looked into the AFR hydra rev kit? I had a motor wtih a hyd roller cam that floated the valves around 6500 RPM. Not long after floating them a couple of times, one lifter broke. I would think peak power should be around 6500 RPM on your motor.

Adam I am going to get the AFR rev kit. I do not want to take any chances with my SBC..... I will try and post some video action of my car when the new heads are in.... :thumbup:

I'd put'em against a set of Brodix 11x heads every day.

 

Called AFR, they said the email I got was a couple weeks early and contained a typo... the 195 flows 300 CFM at .600 not .550 lift. The flow numbers they gave me are for the Eliminator "Competition Package" heads.

malc, u seem to be the man with the answers, i also have a 355 sbc, I'm wanting to change over to AFRs from my 215 23deg Brodix heads hoping for more all around power with my combo, but i don't know witch would benifit me the most the 194 or the 210 eleminators. I have 12.1 compression with a 585 / 600 Lynati mech roller, 1.6 roller rockers, Super Victor Intake, Long tube Headers with Mufflers, full MSD ignition, with a 350 Turbo trans with a 3500 stall, if i have to change something to get more i will. hopefully u can help me with my dilemma. Thanks.
