Your post comes VERY close to advertising just by itself. If I were the mod on this forum I'd remove it.

Just some friendly advice, try using proper capitalization and punctuation when writing your posts.... and use the spell checker. Most people won't take time to decipher a poorly written post, and if it is written so it is easily readable you'll stand a much better chance of having someone answer your questions.

By the way, if you really want to sell your engine put an ad on Craig's List and ask a reasonable price.

post police?

I do'nt understand you suggesting removing my post .Am i not in the right forum to ask for help, advise? That's all i did, i stated it could be seen on the classifieds.I have no miss-spelled words in my post and i seldom use the spell checker because i know how to spell and punctuate!I just did'nt take time to do the latter.Did'nt know my post would be scrutinized this closely.

Helpful, not critical replies please.Just tryin' to get the $ for the coronet. Thanks
Attitudes like this won't be tolerated. One more wise guy remark and you'll get a suspension. Centerline very nicely gave you some advice, lose the attitude.

Hi
I just looked at the price your asking. You need to check prices.
I have******one FI the other carbed, both have C6s w/them
I payed $150 for the FI engine & traded a 351 short block for the other,
my total investment $300. for 2 running 460s w/two C6 transmissions

I don't think anyone is being critical, just trying to steer you in the right direction.

We are trying to help you.

You may not understand this but your original post in this thread is tantamount to a classified ad. You are after all asking people to help you sell something. If you would take the time to read the rules and guidelines of this forum you'll find that advertising in the forums is not tolerated, period end of story. Its that simple. We're not picking on you these rules are the same for everyone.

My comments on your writing technique were constructive, although you may not agree. Try looking at it this way... This forum has some very experienced and knowledgeable people who volunteer their time to answer questions. These people are spread pretty thin and very few of them have time to decipher a post in order to understand what the person is asking. It just takes more time than they're willing to spend just to answer what for them is usually a simple question. If your posts are readable, ie; ...capitalization and punctuation used then you stand a much better chance of getting quality replies and trust me, taking 10 seconds to use the spell checker just helps people understand you are at least interested in coming across as an educated person.

Now its up to you. You can continue with the attitude, or you can listen to those who have been here for a while and learn how to use this forum properly.
