Oh dear God, will it "fit"? HUH? Think about what question, will it "FIT", you KNOW it won't fit, can it fit with enough modification? Of course, you could modify a White Freightliner frame to fit a Yugo if you spend enough time and money.
Exactly what I was wondering. You know for a body-on-frame truck, these vehicles can actually handle quite well. I wouldn't bother trying stuck anything from a corvette into an S-10 other than maybe the engine (and that's only if the corvette was a 97 or newer model)
I am the wrong guy to ask as I can show you a Jeep Wrangler on a C-4 Corvette chassis and am currently building a rod on a Suzuki Sidekick chassis with a 472 Cad/T400 and 9 inch rear to have a custom body..So in this case a complete C-4 chassis and grafting the S-10 body on it is well withing the realm of possible..Of course it all depends on the skills of the builder..
Generally the corvette has a shorter wheelbase and a slightly wider track. This means at the very least the wheels will stick out a bit. If you put a flare over the wheels then that solves the problem.
Then there's the problem of actually finding a suitable corvette chassis. Would it be cost effective?
