Just curious if leaf springs have to be mounted in parallel? Might be easier to lower the back of my car if I move the rear shackle inboard of the frame instead of right under it. Of course I would have to change the front mounting point so it was at the right angle. I started thinking about this and couldn't remember ever hearing or reading about mounting leaf springs at an angle to each other.
