Hey all.
Id first like to thank Crazy Larry. He recently entrusted and mailed me his setup of mics so I could make sure my motor was OK before putting it together. WAY COOL in my book and he is a very nice and a great member to have on this site.
Next. My engine was totally within the specs with everything measuring exactly what it should.
I have the bearings on the rods and the rings on and the crank installed, so Saturday I should with any luck and a long day get the engine longblocked. :D
Pics will soon follow. Im excited. HG

Doc Here, :pimp:

HemmiGremmi,

Crazy Larry is one of the Good Guys! and a very knowledgeable guy too.

Glad to hear you are getting your project going again. Hope it goes together soon, and pics to follow .

Rodders helping out other Rodders has been the basis of rodding since the hobby began... where even on the strip, if one guy needed wrenching to run another everybody rolled up his sleeve's and did a bit, even the competition, to get it going again...

Crazy Larry is from that "School" of rodding as well as many other's here. That's what makes this hobby great, The people...

Doc :pimp:

PS: One last thing...Please ...Please tell me you washed and scrubbed the block after machine shop gave it back to you...before you put it back together... :D

Amen to that, Brother....$2.99 A Gallon in The Bay area AND RISING....Let's see..The Vette Holds 28 Gallons ...At say $3.00 a gallon. :( ..that's $84 bucks to fill the tank....At (if I'm Nice...10 miles to the gallon) Thats 280 miles a tank...and goes by real fast around here! :pain:
