How long does epoxy primer take to dry

I am using Summit Racing Epoxy.

Today I sprayed the hood on my Firebird. It is warm around 72 Farenheit.

I returned about an hour and 15 minutes after I sprayed. I touched the panel and it felt dry. I lifted the hood and moved it against the wall in my garage. When I looked I had prints from me handling it. (Like the primer was still soft underneath?)

Anyone have an idea when it would be safe to handle.

Bummer too, I used rags to hold the hood so the edges don't cut my hands and now I got rag fibers stuck in the primer.

SPI takes 7 days to reach its full cure, but it's 'dry' (as in you can handle or sand it) well before that.

If I spray something with epoxy I give it a good half day at least before I touch it. Most of the time I spray it and just come back the next day to do anything.

Im not that experienced but have shot 3 different epoxy primers in the last year. I would recommend waiting 24hrs especially if you shot more that one coat or a heavy coat.
Also noticed the temperature effects it alot. I think the best bet before risking adhesion issues from your next coat is to contact the company. Ive noticed all of the ones Ive used vary
