I purchased my first hot rod in 2003 a 1939 Ford Coupe and have spent the last 2-3 years restoring the car. At present the chassis has been straigthened, rust cut out and fitted with a 1939 ford driveline, brakes, steering and suspension. Minus the motor. Will intend to fit a flathead 59a in the car.Currently I am trying to fit 1949 Ford F1 brakes to the 1939 spindles. Not quite there yet.
Reason for joining this site is to obtain a greater understanding of hot rod parts and rodders tricks and experience to assist in building my car.
