Yeah so my 305 is gunna be retired one day and I think I just might wanna build a tubular frame with some cheap suspension and put my 305 with the t-5 to make a little go cart???? Is this crazy? Is it expensive if I just use an old drivline?

'Bout as crazy as the dual turbocharger 426 hemi crotch Saturn 5 that shows up at the nostalgia drags at Famoso. Doesn't run down the strip, just sits in the show and shine!!
That would have to be a damned big gocart. You will have to basically build a small car from scrap parts. Sounds interesting, but not as cheap as you would think. Plus you will probably die driving it.
can not be any more crazy then putting a 350 on a motocycle and calling it the bosshoss. But it will not be cheap but if you get it built give me a yell and I will come take a ride on it.
try everything once twice if you like it
umm well this is something that I am thinking of throwing together as I replace the drivline in my car... then getting some springs and wheel setup from the wreckers... and just running plain leafs on the back... Most the cost would be in steel I would think... Plus I think if I made the thing light enough it would rip even with a tired 305 in it
another Idea I am toying with is cutting the whole front off a second gen camaro (sorry neil) and then maybe using a trunk as the seating.... I think the thing would go very fast... (305 in a camaro makes it faster than some cars... and then cuz the weight in half at least, it should rip)
