I Just rebuild my 555 BBC, and it smoke from one side, i take the plugs out and found that cylinder 2 spark plug was with oil and it smokes trough the spark plug hole. It's smokes a little on idle, but when i press throttle it smokes a lot, valve stem seals are new, pistons are new, rings are new, and all gasket are new also, also the block was bored and i check the measures and they are correct.
Pistons are Mahle forged that comes with rings.
gaskets are fel-pro
Can the intake gasket cause this?, remember that it's smoke hardly under throttle

pd: i also change spark plug cable, spark plug and injector and the problem persist.

Simple things first...
Are the valve guide clearances correct?
What type valve seals were installed.?
We're seals placed on intake and exhaust guides.?
Is the valve lift within limits for the valve seals?
What kind of valve spring retainers were used?
We're O-ring valve seals used?

Yes, Clearance correct, valve lift also correct, is just a rebuild because i go from 4.560 bore to 4.600 bore, so i use the same things that works before rebuild.

valve stem seals are this ones: https://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/cca-517-16

Compression test that side. If it's similar to the other three, then hopefully it's the intake gasket leaking oil from the bottom side or a rocker stud thread. Other than that - rings in upside down.

My best guesses - good luck.
I will compresion test it, also i will remove injector to see through injector hole if there's oil on intake.
I have never remove rocker stud, but i will check that also
I Have more valve stem seals, so i will change them also

Engine don't have more than one day rebuilded, i don't drive the jeep yet

THANKS

Finally compression was between 185 and 195 on all cylinders, also change valve steam seals from cylindet 2, then i remove throttlebody and saw oil inside where intake joint with heads, but on cylinder 8 and 6.
Finally change all plugs and now the cylinder 8 is burning oil, so i think i have an intake gasket problem here

Block, head and intake was never cut, i buy this engine like this (555 edelbrock/pat musi 697hp), so maybe i install the intake bad.
Also i put some load to engine yesterday and it smokes like a train.
I will remove intake and install it with new gaskets.

Pd: the head and intake gaskets are the same model that comes with the engine

I Found the problem, heads are cracked from upside to intake runner, i never touch this heads, so this is a problem that i have since the engine was new (it always smoke a little but now it's a lot), i think they ported it too much when they build it.

this is the engine, and heads are 51559 (discontinued btw) : Performance Crate Engines - Chevy - Big-Block - Edelbrock/Musi 555 RPM EFI 10.0:1 (697 HP & 643 TQ) - Edelbrock, LLC.

picture attatched, i remove intake with engine cold and clean the runners (some have a lot of oil), then remove valvecovers and drop oil to rocker and spring, and this is what happend in 4 runners.
