RodDoors offered complete custom interiors for a variety of cars including my 1949 Ford F-1. But now their phone is disconnected and their installers don't even know what's going on.

Sooo...I need a headliner and rear cab cover. The original was ugly even when it was new. I want the one piece ABS custom fit that you glue your own fabric to. Quiet Ride and others carry what they call Exactly As Original, which means ugly with lots of seams.

Anyone else?

Rod Doors Out of business

While Rod Doors has announced it is out of business--all is not lost. QuietRide Solutions (www.******.com) in Stockton, CA manufactures the one-piece molded ABS headliners for Ford and Chevy trucks 1936 through 1972. QuietRide also manufactures the firewall insulator panels for cars and trucks as well as the AcoustiShield thermal-acoustic auto insulation kits for 700 vehicles to make your ride "Cool and Quiet Inside!" All of our products are year, make and model specific.

As for the Rod Doors custom door panels, headliners and other products, only time will tell whether these products will be available once again.

Contacted Quiet Ride, not especially helpful. Didn't even want to take the time to snap a picture of a headliner kit so I could see one before I bought it. How do you expect to sell a headliner without letting the customer see it first?

Still looking elsewhere...

Whoo-hoo, Blaine at Roddoors called back and he has some leftover stock - headliner, rear cab cover, door and kick panels.

He also said the he is trying to bring the company back on a smaller scale, he had some cool stuff so I hope he can make it go.
