What are his plans?

 

Now we been so busy doing our magic on it...That we didn't take a lot of pictures,, But we do have a few so far... Hope yall enjoy another one of our build's..I will post a few pictures to catch everyone up with us.. :thumbup:

 

I had to make a whole new lip for the windshield... This thing needed a lot of help... But you will get to see it start to come together to make a very cool hot rod... :thumbup:

 

We also close up ALL the holes for the hood and vent on the cowl..To give it a more smooth look when done.. :thumbup:

On this build we wanted to use the ''KISS'' way of thinking... ''KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID''... :thumbup:

We didn't want to spend a lot of time and money on it... But wanted to build it Safe and cool all in one... :thumbup:

And by all means.... NO RAT ROD !!!!!! :spank:

 

We are planning to bag the back..So it will sit really low at the show..

 

What are his plans?

He's not sure yet on a color, But for now it will be flat black with white wall and red wheels with baby moons... Maybe a tunnel ram later and maybe a bigger motor..We will see when we get to that point... He is really on fire right now for this truck... And want's to help on this one... :thumbup:

He is making me so proud right now... I can't wait until we can go ride together to a show...I waited for this day a long time..

Casey, welcome aboard! You're a lucky young man to have an Ol' Man w/some mad skilz, and he's just as lucky to have a son who shares interest in hotrods- so kudos to you both.

Any ideas yet on color? Wheels? And I thought for a minute I needed to see the eye doc- that green valve covered SBF morphed into an orange SBC! So... what's it gonna be for powering it?

He will be on here later, He's still in school..Believe me he want's to be here on his truck,,,

As far as the ford,,We can deal with a ford body, But that's as far away from Chevy we will go... :mwink: It will be Chevy powered.... Sorry Centerline !!! It isn't going to happen.. :mwink:

I helped out a friend that want's to build something... I gave him the ford motor and trans... Catch y'all later... I'm off to the doctor..

I dig the truck but way more, WAY more I like seeing his son working with him, the truck could be ugly junk and that is worth all the work.

wow what a nice build and bonding time for a son and his dad, I only could be so lucky back in the day to spend time with my pa who now is 85 and when I was young was busy in the airforce and worked nights and weekends.
Keep up the great build and I will be following along.
