I've certainly learned that my memory is very poor. I felt confident that I could remember quite easily how everything would go back together and wouldn't need any pictures to help remind me but of course I was wrong.
I am trying to hook everything back up on my father/daughter 1977 camaro project car and can't get the shift linkage re-attached.
I thought that the bracket that holds the cable from the shift selector mounted to the oil pan using the second and third holes starting at the front left corner. However, when I do this, the cable isn't long enough to reach the connection point on the attachment point coming out of the tranny.
Could someone please post pictures of a similar setup please? As always, I appreciate everyones assistance.
