Hello all, my name is Preston, I'm a musician, and I live in Michigan. My dad is an automotive painter and I'm currently learning the skills of the trade. I own a 1983 AMC Eagle wagon, and my dad and I are currently working on/costomizing a 1986 Lincoln Continental. A friend and I built a 1948 Ford F2 rat rod when we were in high school... point is, I love cars, haha. I am happy to be a member here, and look forward to learning more about what people are doing to their classic rides these days.

I want to start by saying that my father and I do NOT run a body shop, and we do not run a business. We do get paid to paint cars for people, but generally they are friends of family, just family, or friends of friends, etc... and it's for the pleasure and the art of automotive paint in itself... but I must say with today's economy (especially here in Michigan) it's awfully difficult to make ends meet or even find work. Seems like everybody's hurting from it. Making a little extra money on the side never hurt anyone.

We're in mid-Michigan, and if anyone in the Michigan/Ohio/Indiana area is looking for a painter for their car or truck, or whatever, let me know. I can provide samples of our work.
