painting urethane dash pads and arm rests

I purchased a new re-pop dash pad and arm rests from LMC truck and they are what is called urethane material not classic vinyl over foam as original. Can this material be painted over with say, SEM flexible coatings like vinyl can? Has anyone done this with success? Thanks

Yes, you can use SEM products on your dash pad and arm rests. I have re-colored lots of arm rests with it. You can use Color Coat or Sure Coat. Color Coat comes in aerosols, but Sure Coat doesn't. Make sure you clean the pad and arm rests with the right SEM cleaners before you spray them.
