I have a set of sb chevy heads #482824.. I tried looking them up ,but couldnt find nothing on them. could someone tell me something about them, and what the cc is.. I got a guy that wants to buy them and would like for him to know what he is getting.. I called the guy that i got them from ,but its been about 3 years ago,and he said he thinks they was LT-350 heads 76cc
they have the 2.02 1.60 valves and plus how much should i ask for them?? they have the 3/8 srew in studs, and guide plates.. They was on my 350sb before i rebuild it with a 488/510 lift cam, 600 cfm douple pumperand it ran great.

thanks Robbie

i went back and founfd were you was talking about. thanks

went to morTec, and no luck... is there another placev to look??

i found them, i had the number wrong, the 8 was a 6, but it looked like an 8. #462624 is the right number
it came off a 75--86 year model 76cc, what should i ask for them, they will need valve seals, cause i took the valves out to port them but sence they are 76cc im not.. anybody???

if the heads do in fact have the 2.02 1.60 valves from the factory, then they came on the L82 vette engine. If they were mine, I would keep the valves and other usable pieces and scrap the heads, the 624 casting is a real light crack prone head, If you haven`t had them magnafluxed you should before you sell them to assure the buyer there not cracked. As for what to ask, I can`t help on that, since a majority of hot rodders know to avoid these heads.

about last may i had the heads reworked, miled and had screw in studs, plus guide plates put on, and a valve job,but in oct, i wiped out a lobe on the cam,and went with what i have now.. im going to tell the guy what i have ,and what he needs to do..

They look like a fairly generic head according to Mortec. You'll need to measure the valves and they came with lots of different sizes. They also may be 400 heads, which will have the steam holes drilled in them.

Guess if they aren't cracked and have the mid to larger valves, i'd ask $100 for them if they need work.
