rear main seal leak..help!

I have a rear main seal leak in my roadrunner, its not dripping to much but it does drip more when the car gets really hot. Can I get away with using some of that LUCAS oil treatment with some new synthetic oil as a fix which will not be a short term temporory solution? (I cant do it and its reeeeal expensive)

I have never had much success with temporary solutions. The only way I know to stop a rear main seal from leaking is to replace the seal.

And sometimes the bearing as well.

The lucas may slow the leak down. The synthetic oil will speed it up.
