I have an aftermarket Elderbrook aluminum manifold on my street Rod. The Rochester carburetor that I want to run has the choke assembly, but the Edelbrock manifold has no well for the choke spring and all that so how do I go about hooking this up with that problem no place to put the link, this is a 1972 Buick 455 engine with the appropriate model Rochester quad carburetor has had the manifold changed over to aftermarket. Can I put a manual choke pull would that work so if anybody has encountered this problem and has a solution for me let me know please. Thank you.

My Edelbrock Performer has the choke well and crossover, but maybe they leave it off on higher end intakes. IIRC, conversion to a manual choke is not real simple, and good cable routing can be a challenge.

Simplest solution is to buy an electric choke conversion kit for your Quadrajet. And you need to find an ignition switched power source under the hood to make it work. The wiper motor is a common choice.
