Stripped accelerator pump nozzle screw

Hi,

The screw hole on my accelerator pump nozzle stripped... :spank:

Anybody have experience with the BLP repair kit?

I've also heard that you can just helicoil it and then use a hollow screw. But I'm having trouble finding the 12-28 helicoil kit.

I feel like I'd lean towards the helicoil, the BLP brass insert looks like it is just glued in with green loctite...

I've done that too and it was repaired with a heli-coil.
It was never a problem at all.

Type 12-28 thread repair kit into Google. Heli-coil doesn't make these, but others do. One brand is called Recoil.

Helicoil brand is owned by Stanley. Recoil brand is owned by Alcoa. Totally different companies.
