Ok here's what goin on, I have a 1988 C 1500 with a 350, and the bottom end of the motor is shot and the top end is good, and then i have another 350 motor out of a 1975 chevy which obviously has a carburetor, i want to put the top end of the 88 on the bottom end of the 75, but i was told the timing will end up being way off, so i was just wondering about how far off it might be....thanks

Ayuh,...

The Timing will be wherever you set it...

The 1 Issue that you will have is,..
The Crankshaft bolt pattern is Different...
That'll cause flywheel fitment issues,+ possibly starter fitment issues...
