I am going to have my C$ out of my 67 mustang rebuilt and have some questions.
I am doing a fairly stock rebuild as the motor is mild with less than 300hp 350tq
Just wondering on what mild upgrades can be made. I see various transgo kits, B&M kits, TCI as mentioned, wondering if they are the same thing, what's the difference, what affect etc.
Also, for a rebuild kit, what quality/brand upgraded parts should I look for? I see raybestos bands, "red" bands etc.
I would like to increase the reliability and performance. Would like a mild upgrade to shifting, but not banging, as I will not be dragging/racing.
Obviously a novice when it comes to the trani so any guidance is greatly appreciated.
