if its the plastic thats cracked, i think the strongest way to repair it might be to plastic weld it with one of those neat lil soldering irons

if its the aluminium thats damaged, im sure you can solder it

ive learned that you should only go mudding in cars that have low mounted bumpers and all metal radiator supports

ive done all sorts of things in my cheap cars .... including taking a geo metro down a seasonal 4x4 only road .... i left a few parts behind that day .....
