I seen a pair of heads for an LT-1 Corvette and someone said they were reverse flow cooling. What exactly is reverse flow cooling and how does it work? What is the advantage of this type of cooling? Thanks.

Are the water jackets in different locations? Or would these type of heads work on the older style small blocks? I'm told these are for '92 and up motors.
Only LT1 engines, unless you have the heads converted (drill coolant passages)
As far as I know the LT1 came in 5.7L, and 4.3L only (Camaro, Firebird, Caprice and Corvette).
LT-1 (notice the hyphen) was the GM option code for the "special-high-performance" 350 offered in Corvettes & Camaros in the very early '70s. They used the same blocks as the low-performance 350's of the time, but made 60-70 more horsepower.
The '92-'96 LT1 (no hyphen) was also a high-performance 350, but it was based on a block with a different cooling system design (reverse-flow) from that of the standard 350's from the same period.
