Nitrous is easiest and cheapest. (3-400 bucks)
Turbo is the most efficiant.
Roots style has the most WOW factor with good horsepower.

 

There is not one that is the BEST. What is best for one vehicle or driving style is not best for another. The question you asked has no answer or many answer depending how you want to look at it.

What makes one better than another? All have advantages and disadvantages. It will strictly depend on goals and use of the vehicle.

As with most things when it come to performance it's all about the combination.
